Designed by 5 times British Open Champion James Braid, and renowned as the oldest golf course in Wales, Tenby G.C is also ranked no2 in Wales in the Rolex World's top 1000 courses. Host to many Championships including recently the British Ladies, British Girls, Welsh Amateur and Welsh PGA Championship. Meandering gently through undulating fairways, and with superb sea views over Carmarthen Bay, Tenby provides a great test of golf whatever the weather. It is not long by modern standards, but with true, fast greens, and a classic links layout Tenby has proven to be a must play destination for any golf lovers visiting West Wales. Part of it's charm is the fact that it is only 10 minutes walk from the historic medieval walled Town of Tenby. With a picturesque Old Harbour and many Pubs and restaurants,it is worth booking accommodation in one of the 7 twin bedrooms that the golf club has situated adjacent to the Clubhouse and strolling into Town after your round for a bite to eat and drink.
