Inaugurated in 1991, the Castell’Arquato Golf Club stands at the point where the lush valleys around Piacenza meet the rolling hillsides of Parma. The course is set in 64 hectares of countryside at about 220 metres above sea level. It is just a dozen or so kilometres from Piacenza and near the beautiful mediaeval borough of Castell’Arquato. The course has 18 Championship holes, set in a green and meandering valley. This prestigious course was designed by Cotton & Pennick and is demanding yet fun for both expert players and beginners. Golfers can take a short break or spend a few hours relaxing in the bright, spacious club house. FORESTERIA - DORMY HOUSE Six rooms with air conditioning, mini-bar, hair drier, tv and large terraced area (overlooking the golf course). Six mini apartments suitable for 4 persons, each with a double bed and sofa bed. Equipped with air conditioning, fully equipped kitchen, tv, mini-bar, hair drier and veranda. Bright and cosy restaurant adjacent to the golf course. The restaurant is also open to the general public. Open all day from 10:00 to 23:00. Closed on Tuesday. Thanks to its position the restaurant allows its guests to enjoy the wonderful view of the surrounding landscape. Al fresco dining on the restaurant terrace offers enchanting sunsets and unforgettable nights under the starry sky. The restaurant is a ideal venue for any event - weddings, receptions, etc. Restaurant guests can enjoy a vast selection of the finest selection local cuisine. The restaurant menu offers local cold cuts like "Coppa", "Piacentino" sausage, "Culatello" sausage and bacon, "Parmigiano Reggiano" cheese flakes and "Chisolini" pasta. The first course list includes typical (fresh pasta) dishes as: Pisarei with Faso, Tortelli with herbs/spinach and ricotta cheese, anoloni in broth, etc. For main course the restaurant offers various meat and/or fish dishes upon request. Our golf club is equipped with a large meeting/conference room with up to 200 seating capacity. FACILITIES: practice course with 20 stations, 6 of which are covered, putting green, golf carts, golf club hire, electric and manual pull trolleys, pro-shop, bar, restaurant, car park, locker room, TV, lounge and massage room, available subject to booking. The instructor, Antonio Pelle, is always on hand for individual or group lessons.

the course was very wet, because of heavy rain the days before our Arrival and made it even more difficult. The layout is perfect.

Ruhige, fast in freier Natur gelegene Anlage. Leider muss man zum Erreichen von Loch 4-7 zweimal eine kleine Ortsverbindungsstrasse queren. Relativ lange Wege zum nächsten Abschlag. Abschläge nicht gemäht, Bahn kurz gehalten, Greens i.O. Insgesamt gefälliger Golfplatz, mit Golfhäftet super Preis.
